 Fave Phones
Whats your favorite phone on the market right now? I think Samsung has put out some top notch mid level phones, no Iphone or Blackberry but still fun sturdy and reliable, What do you think?

 Re: Fave Phones
I couldn't live without my Blackberry Bold 9700 ,but I have owned an iPhone, a Winmo (windows mobile) phone, and one or two feature phones. I am in love with the Nexus One from Google but I just can't give up my 15 hour battery life for a touch screen with 4 to 5 hours of battery life. Blackberry all the way.

 Re: Fave Phones
We constantly have this arguement at work. Iphone vs Blackberry. Personally I hated the older blackberry Bold 9000 or the curve 8300 series. Mostly the track ball plus it was more complicated then what it needed to be. The newer 8500 series curve and the 9700 Bold fixed atleast the track ball problem by replacing it with a optical pad.
Picked up an iphone roughly a year and have no attention on putting it down. Granted the iphone has obvious draw backs like the compatabilty with rings tones, and no phone to phone bluetooth. While there is a way to get around these problem WITH OUT jail breaking your phone it is still an annoying. Despite these obvious downfalls everything the iphone does offer (over 100,000 apps) easily makes up for it.
Currently Samsung's Solstice, impression, and Flight or selling very well. Highlights to this phone is while it supports the full HTML browser it is not considered a smart phone thus not require the $30 unlimited data plan (for AT&T phones) Draw backs is the lack of functionality (IT'S NOT A SMART PHONE DUH!!!) A major issue mostly with the Samsung Impression is freezing up while txting, requiring you to do a hard reset of the phone. Very common on impressions not so common on the Flight, and Solstice but still a problem.

 Re: Fave Phones
As soon as the Palm PRe Plus launches, Doom will probably put back money and buy it outright.
Then Doom will never need another phone.
Ever.

 Re: Fave Phones
HTC touch pro 2, running a rommed version of Windows Mobile 6.5, with sense 2.5.
Its amazing, and is by far one of my favorite possessions.
However, when St. Louis becomes 4g, then I'll be switching to the HTC Evo 4g (or and equivalent with a full qwerty keyboard), cause even though it runs android, that phone is a beast.
